PBI-101 Power BI Publish Error- Your File Publish but disconnected

It sounds like you're encountering the "Your file was published but disconnected" error when publishing a Power BI report. This issue can arise due to various reasons, such as missing gateway connections or incorrect settings.

Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

  1. Check Gateway Settings – If your data source requires a gateway, ensure that it is properly assigned in Power BI Service under Manage connections and gateways.
  2. Verify Data Source Connections – Some users have resolved this issue by deleting duplicate connections in the Connections tab and republishing the report.
  3. Ensure Proper Cloud Connection – If your dataset requires a cloud connection, go to Settings > Gateway and Cloud Connections and link it to an existing cloud connection.
  4. Update Power BI Desktop – Make sure you're using the latest version of Power BI Desktop, as outdated versions can cause publishing errors.
  5. Check Network and Firewall Settings – If you're behind a firewall or using a proxy, ensure that Power BI URLs are allowed in your network settings.

  6. Clear Cached Data and Credentials
    – Go to File > Options and settings > Options, then under Data Load, select Clear Cache. Also, clear any cached credentials under Data Source Settings.

यह Error Gatway  Connection डिलीट  होने के कारण होता है
इसके solution के लिए Gatway दोबारा install करे । या फिर बिना gatway connection के publish के लिए  सबसे पहले My Workspace मे जाकर old publish semantic model file डिलीट करे । और फिर से publish कर
